Reference Number 0000290912 SCOPE OF WORK D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of development of a new basketball court and pathway. D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Removals; (b) Excavation for new basketball court area, and pathway; (c) Subgrade compaction; (d) Site grading; (e) Material Testing; (f) Installation of geogrid/geotextile composite; (g) Supply, install & compact granular sub-base and base course materials; (h) Supply & install asphalt surfacing; (i) Supply & install Cushion Court Surfacing material with lines; (j) Supply & install chain link fencing with gates; (k) Supply & install hoops and nets; (l) Supply & install benches; (m) Supply & install bike rack; and (n) Supply & install topsoil and sod The Contractor shall not commence the Work on the Site before May 15, 2025. The Contractor shall achieve Total Performance within thirty (30) consecutive Working Days of the commencement of the Work. (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (b) labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. (c) an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba and drawn on a branch located in Winnipeg, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or (d) a certified cheque or draft payable to "The City of Winnipeg", drawn on a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Award Authority may reject all or any part of any Bid, or waive technical requirements or minor informalities or irregularities, if the interests of the City so require.
