Replace 4 Unit T­ Hangar Building This project will include the demolition of an existing T­hangar and construction of a new 4­unit two­sided standard t­hangar with concrete floor and bi­fold doors, lights, and receptacles. Add Alt 1 consists of demolition of the existing adjacent T­hangar. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Prequalification with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) is sufficient prequalification. If not prequalified with CDB, prequalification will be required in accordance with 002113 ­ Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Contract time will be one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days.
