Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rockford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Renovating and expanding the existing parking lot including earth excavation, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete paving, retaining walls, subbase, aggregate base, HMA paving, pavement markings, traffic signs, lighting, irrigation and all necessary appurtenances and landscape plantings and restoration. The city will provide lighting for installation by the Contractor. It is the intent of these contract documents to be clear, complete and consistent. If Bidder is of the opinion that any portion of the contract documents is ambiguous, inconsistent or contains errors or omissions Bidder shall, prior to submitting its bid, in writing request Engineer to clarify that portion of the contract documents as an addendum. This interpretation or correction will be made a part of the contract documents as an addendum. Any such addendum shall be mailed, faxed, e-mailed or delivered only to each person recorded as having received/downloaded a copy of the contract documents directly from Prein&Newhof. Only written addenda issued by the Engineer shall be binding. Oral interpretations, information or instructions by any office or employee of the Owner or Engineer are not authorized and therefore are not binding
