Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 29,138-square-foot, two-story above grade, 600-seat educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This is the Edmonton School Division's (Division) #1 priority in their 2025-26 Capital Plan submission. Enrolment at Dr. Anne Anderson High School in southwest Edmonton has grown from 779 students in September 2021 to 1,957 students in 2023. Phase 1 of the High School opened in fall 2021 with capacity for about 1,800. Phase 2 will accommodate 600 additional grades 10 to 12 students. The proposed addition of 2,698 m2 will allow the Division to provide high school programming for all students residing in the Heritage Valley area.
