**As of MAY 27, 2025 , This project has been awarded to Five Star PaintingL.L.C. for $29,975.20.** Questions Due: Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The Academy for Classical Education is a public charter school authorized under Georgia's State Charter Schools Commission. ACE will be in its eleventh (11 th ) year of operation in 2025 and enrolls 1,809 students in grades K-12 Project Highlights and Expectations: 1. ACE needs a qualified Contractor to provide Interior Painting Services for its main building located at 5665 New Forsyth Road, Macon, GA - see attached floor plan. 2. The Contractor responding to the RFQ represents that it is qualified, possesses the necessary expertise, knowledge, training, tools and skills necessary to conduct/perform all requirements set forth in the Specifications. The respondent will provide all materials, labor, transportation, supervision and supplies as required to perform the requested services for ACE - see attached floor plan 3. ACE desires to enter into an Agreement with the Contractor to provide the required services. 4. The Contractor has agreed to provide and perform such services as required at the compensation and terms provided herein. 5. Project Scope includes all common hallways as marked on the attached overview of the interior of the building. 6. Project Scope includes all restrooms as marked on the attached overview of the interior of the building. 7. Project Scope includes repair/patch walls and cover those areas with primer. 8. Project Scope includes one coat of paint to match existing colors. 9. Project Scope includes Room 407. Furniture will be moved out or to the center of the room. ACE will remove all items from the walls. The board reserves the right to reject any or all responses made during the course of discussions and negotiations concerning a proposed contract, to discontinue its efforts to seek an Interior Painting company, or to pursue another compliant process to acquire such services. 1. Bidder is required to patch/prep all damaged walls prior to prime and paint. 2. ACE will remove all items on the walls prior to project start date. Items that remain on the wall will be painted around. 3. Paint will match existing colors 4. Hallways with high ceilings will be painted to the wall trim. 5. Classroom 407 will also need painting. ACE reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason, and to re-issue the RFQ.
