Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, permits, travel, and incidentals necessary to repair the concrete bunker wall at the Buckhorn Sand House. This work will include the demolition of portions of the existing wall down to the foundation, tying a new Contractor provided epoxy-coated rebar, and pouring concrete. Additional work includes, descaling, disposing, sealing, and treatment of rusty columns to resist future rust. Refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A, for a more complete description of services. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) demolition and repair of concrete bunker wall as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, permits, travel, and incidentals necessary to repair the concrete bunker wall at the Buckhorn Sand House. This work will include the demolition of portions of the existing wall down to the foundation, tying a new Contractor provided epoxy-coated rebar, and pouring concrete. Additional work includes, descaling, disposing, sealing, and treatment of rusty columns to resist future rust. 2. The services shall be performed at District 02, Highway 299 Post Mile 69.64 in Trinity County. 3. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include designee. 4. This Agreement will commence on July 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on August 1, 2026 (estimate). The routine services shall be provided during normal business hours Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding State holidays. This facility is in full operation during winter, for this reason all work is to be completed by November 1st and/or can't be started prior to April 15th. Any requests for exceptions need to be requested and approved in writing. Concurrence from the Maintenance Managers will need to be included in the written response allowing the adjustment to the time frame previously mentioned. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
