The Scope of Work includes the replacement of and upgrades to door hardware, access control, monitoring and security cameras at all middle and high schools, and one elementary school, (6 schools total) within the school division. Construction will take place while staff and students are present. Careful planning will be required to minimize noise while on site as well as disruption to staff and students. In addition to replacement of and upgrades to door hardware, new wiring will need to be installed above ceilings and through existing vertical chases in the buildings that are multi-story. Care will need to be exercised not to damage these existing finishes and materials. Any damage or replacement of these finishes and materials will be the sole responsibility of the contractor to perform at his cost. Upon successful completion, the contractor may be awarded Phase 2 and Phase 3 of this project. Contractors should note that the work at R.S. Payne Elementary School will need to be completed first.
