Haywood County will be soliciting bids for Haywood County Road Improvements, located in Southwest Haywood County, Tennessee. The project consists of widening and strengthening approximately 6 miles of roads in Haywood County immediately around Blue Oval City. The work will include replacing culverts, full-depth reclamation (FDR) of existing pavements, soil cement, asphalt pavement, and striping and signage of the roads. The roads included in the project are Stanton-Somerville Road, Keeling Road, and Fredonia Road. Haywood County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award.
