The work to be done consists generally of: Furnishing all labor for construction the WWTP 13kV 3 Phase Upgrade and other related work, as shown on the drawings and/or described in the specifications. The BROWNSVILLE ENERGY AUTHORITY will receive bid submissions to provide labor to upgrade and reconductor an existing distribution line to 3 phase construction that will serve as an alternate backup feed to a waste water treatment plant. The work to de done consists generally of: Labor to upgrade approximately 1.5 miles of existing 13kV overhead distribution line for implementation of a backup 3 phase feeder circuit for a Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP). The existing distribution line consists of a mixture of single phase, two phase, and three phase construction. All conductor along the alignment will be replaced with new 336 AAC conductor. Some existing poles must be reframed or completely changed out to allow for the new 3 phase construction. See the plans for construction details at each site. Please note that approximately 0.4 miles of line shown on the plans is new construction, and all work will be completed by Brownsville Energy Authority.
