The City of Brownsville is seeking a qualified landscape architect to enhance the landscaping surrounding the Tina Turner Statue located in Heritage Park. The selected landscape architect will work closely with the City of Brownsville to create a design that complements the statue and adds to the overall aesthetic appeal of the area. 1. Conduct a site analysis to assess the current landscaping conditions. 2. Develop a landscape design that enhances the area surrounding the Tina Turner Statue. 3. Select appropriate plantings, hardscape elements, and other features to improve the overall appearance of the site. 4. Provide detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the proposed enhancements. 5. Collaborate with park management and other stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs and vision - Licensed landscape architect. - Demonstrated experience in creating landscape designs for public spaces or monuments. - Strong portfolio showcasing similar projects. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to meet project deadlines and budget requirements. Submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee, and selected candidates may be invited for an interview.
