The purpose of these specifications is to request bid for Pump Repair and Maintenance Services. The intent of the bids is to obtain services to perform pump repairs, and maintenance on an as needed base for the duration of the contract. The work under this specification includes providing all labor and parts required for pump preventative maintenance and repair services to include removal of existing pumps for refurbishment, rehabilitation and or rebuilding, then reinstallation and alignment. Q And A Open4/5/2025 5:30:00 PM Q And A Close4/15/2025 9:30:00 PM The City may award this contract to both a primary and a secondary vendor if deemed to be in its best interest. The City reserves the right to request time and material estimates on any job for repairs and if deemed excessive, award the job to the secondary vendor. If the primary vendor consistently exhibits excessive hourly requirements (and/or materials), the City reserves the right to award the contract to the next low bidder or re-bid the contract. Scope of Services: The successful contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required to complete all assigned jobs. The Contractor shall be able to start all non-emergency services with five (5) working days after notification from the City of Savannah. For health and welfare or the safety of people and/or property or a condition that will affect an essential service(s) as determined by the City of Savannah. The contractor shall respond to request for emergency service calls within 24 hours after notification.
