Remodeling of a detention facility in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a detention facility.
In general, the work consists of: the replacement of collapsed cast iron piping located under the floor slab and within walls. Replace all fixtures, upgrade lighting, ventilation, floors and walls will be retiled, replace ceiling. The new configuration will provide an accessible shower and toilet space in addition to other fixtures and layout to meet PREA requirements. The staff toilet room will be enlarged, with new fixtures and finishes. This work is located within a secure setting. Base Bids will be received as a single lump sum bid for: 3) Plumbing; 4) Mechanical (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning); and 5) Electrical. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Questions or concerns about working at a DOC Facility should be brought to the attention of the Facility Security Director or the Escorting Officer.
