The White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) Deep Winter Greenhouse project involves the construction of a 40'-0" x 24'-0" (960 s.f.) greenhouse and storage structure and the installation of various active and passive design systems to support the year-round building function. Work is to begin as soon as the Notice of Award of Contract (NOA) is executed and must be completed by no later than June 13th, 2025, without exception. Contractors please note, with the existing legislation and the layoffs of funding programs, The White Earth Tribal and Community College reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel the project without penalty or obligation to any bidders if funding becomes unavailable or is not approved. Each bid shall be accompanied by a corporate security Bid Bond in the amount of at least five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid, payable to White Earth Tribal and Community College, as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds at One Hundred (100%) Percent of the Contract Amount, and Certificate of Insurance. White Earth Tribal and Community College reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for specific bid submittal instructions. 2% White Earth TERO and 3% Indian Preference applies. Bids submitted that do not follow the bidding requirements will be returned unopened. Any bidder may withdraw his bid at any time prior to the bid opening time, but no bidder may withdraw his proposal for a period of 30 days after the date set for the opening thereof.
