Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The major work will consist of the following: Water Improvements: Approximately 13,800 LF of 8 PVC and ductile iron water line, 1,600 LF of 12 PVC and ductile iron water line, 200 LF of 16 PVC water line, respective gate valves, fire hydrants, water services to 395 lots and related work; Sanitary Sewer Improvements: Approximately 15,000 LF of 8 PVC and ductile iron sewer line, 4 sanitary sewer services to 395 lots, 4 manholes, trench water stops and related work; Drainage Improvements: 21-48 RCP and MBC storm drain systems, pond outfall structures, curb inlets, headwalls, safety end treatments, junction boxes, stone riprap. The above Improvements are a part of the Plans for the Construction of Water, Sewer, Paving, Drainage, and Street Light Improvements to serve Lone Star at Liberty Trails Phase 2 and, as prepared by Pape-Dawson Engineers. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date the Contractor is notified. All contractors are required to be prequalified by the City of Fort Worth prior to bid opening. To be eligible to bid the contractor must submit the Prequalification Statement included in the contract documents for the work type(s) listed with their bid. Any Contractor or Subcontractor who is not prequalified for the work type(s) listed must submit a Bidder Prequalification Application in accordance with the requirements included in the contract documents. Developer and Brookfield Water Control and Improvement District of Denton County reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject bids. Both projects will be awarded together to a single bidder.
