This project consists of the construction and installation of approximately 12,600 LF (including 4,690 LF of 8-inch and 7,910 LF of 6-inch) of PVC pipe for a proposed waterline extension along Clever Creek Road, Watertown, Tennessee. The project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, associated work, and all other items necessary to complete the proposed installation of the water line extension for the Water and Wastewater Authority of Wilson County. Replies will be issued by addenda that are mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the bidding instruments. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of bids will not be answered. The successful Bidder must agree to fully complete the project within 150 days from the Notice to Proceed. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by Chapter 6 of Title 62 of the Tennessee Codes Annotated). In accordance with Tennessee Codes Annotated 62-6-119, no bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractors license number, the date of the licenses expiration, and a quotation of that part of his classification applying to the bid. In the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided by each party submitting the bid. No contract is given or implied to the successful Bidder until the project is fully funded and a written contract is offered by the Water and Wastewater Authority of Wilson County and signed by all parties The Water and Wastewater Authority of Wilson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids, to evaluate bids and to accept any bid which, in the Owners opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner.
