The project is expected to be awarded on June 12, 2025.** The Work to be done consists of providing labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and bonds to resurface streets located throughout the City of Columbia with various grades of hot mix asphalt. Work may also include cold planing, mineral aggregate base, excavation, point repairs, geotextiles, and other work-related to hot mix resurfacing. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to the City of Columbia, OWNER, and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The project herein described is to be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed of the contract. No Bidder may withdraw his BID within ninety (90) days after the actual BID date of the opening thereof.
