** The owner has determined a prequalified list of design build companies. The project is expected to be released for bid in a future date ** The services detailed in this section are to be performed for the City of Winchester on a contractual basis to meet the following minimum criteria. The City previously advertised this project for construction bids, but the bid prices were all higher than the allocated budget for this project. The City's new intent with this project is to hire a contractor/designer to construct and achieve as much of the project as possible within a maximum budget of $850,000. The original design drawings and specifications are provided as attachments to this RFP. The proposal can include proposed changes to the original design and specifications of the project. The following are the priorities for this project, in order of importance 1. The footprint of the building should remain the same as originally designed. 2. Construct the restrooms on the lowest level of the new building as originally designed, complete with HVAC. 3. Construct the pressbox with HVAC. 4. The concrete stairs and sidewalks on the outside of the building. 5. Other spaces in the building with as much of the space finished as the budget will allow. All services shall be quality work performed according to the prevailing professional, ethical and business standards of the industry and to the satisfaction of the City of Winchester.
