Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Shelbyville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed construction will include cleaning and painting of the trusses and all steel members, bridge deck removal and replacement, stringer replacements, bearing replacements, pack rust removal, and the installation of scour countermeasures each abutment. Additional work consists of approach guardrail, full depth pavement replacement, asphalt milling with overlay, and all incidental work required, as specified in the Contract Document and Plans. All questions concerning the letting of this project shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer (USI Consultants, Inc. Attention: Doug Graf, 8415 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46216, dgraf@usiconsultants.com prior to 12:00 p.m. local time, April 16, 2025. A written response will be emailed or faxed to the addresses or fax numbers on the "Record of Plan Holders." No questions will be answered by phone SCOPE OF WORK The work called for under these specifications, includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, appurtenances, and means of conveyance for all materials and equipment necessary for the replacement of the following project: SHELBY COUNTY BRIDGE NUMBER 128, REHABILITATION CARRYING CR 75 EAST OVER SOUTH FORK LEWIS CREEK SHELBY COUNTY, INDIANA All work is to be completed in accordance with these Plans and Special Provisions as approved by the Engineer.
