The Work of the Project is defined by the immediately following Project Description herein below and by the Contract Documents. Project Description: Prep prime & paint allsurfaces as indicated. all walls, ceilings, doors and frames, including closet doors & inside of closetsto be painted. All surface mounted conduits, exposed piping and conduits to be painted. Existing fan coil units have been previously painted. Repaint to match wall. Coordination with FIT is required to turn fan coil units off in order to paint. Top grille of fan coil unit is to be removed, spray painted & reinstalled. Remove existing paint, residue, and splatters from all window frames. Use rubbing alcohol to clean and remove any residue from window frames: Clean gently as to minimize removal of aluminum finish of the window frame as much as possible. Windows frames are not to be painted. GC to mock-up one (1) window frame to be reviewed on site. GC shall not proceed until mock-up has been reviewed & approved by the architect. All bulletin boards which have been previously painted are to be painted. All elevator doors & frames are to be painted. Tape and paint around all existing signs. The rooms will be free of furniture. Prior to the start of work. built-in cabinets, flooring, and lighting to be protected throughout the project.
