Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the remodel of a fire / police facility.

**As of June 13, 2025, bids were canceled due to bid was more than the budget. No definite date for the rebid.** Remodel of two bathrooms located in the police department known as the men's locker room and the lady's locker room. Bathrooms must be ADA complaint. Men's locker room to include: 2 sinks / 2 urinals / 2 showers and include all fixtures, parts & materials and labor. Both existing toilets and valves will be reused. Lady`s locker room to include: 2 toilets / 1 shower / 1 sink and includes fixtures, parts, materials and labor. Exploratory Venting & Plumbing Budget (not to exceed price.) This budget will be used to help with the current job, to help ensure that all work will function properly and to use the data for the next phase that will include more of an attempt to eliminate sewer smell from improper venting. Any exploration work that would need patching can be a time and material rate approved first by the Maintenance Supervisor in writing. Construction and Debris: remove men's showers / remove toilet enclosures / remove drywall where needed / remove all ceiling panels, save ceiling grid. Remove Ladies shower surrounds / remove one toile surround / remove drywall where needed/ remove ceiling panels, save ceiling grid. Contractors will be responsible for removing demo products and disposing of them. Men's and ladies' bathrooms will be completely painted and caulked as needed. Painting will be a one coat primmer and a one coat finish that is recommended for areas of high humidity. Floors in men's and ladies' bathrooms are tiled to a cement deck. Existing floor will be removed and disposed of. Any debris that contains anything deemed toxic will be removed by the installer and follow any EPA regulations, with testing documentation revealed to the City Building inspector and the Maintenance supervisor prior to the start of the project. The new floor will be ceramic tile recommended for floors, and a tile continuous wall base.
