Renovation of a military facility in Universal City, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This is a Request for Quotation to interested Small Business Vendors for removal, replacement, and disposal of the Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Fill and Drift Eliminators for four (4) Cooling Tower Cells, Model # AT 224-018 (Evapco Serial #11-410727 and Serial #11- 410728), at Building 498, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas. Interested vendors shall respond to this IAW the attached documents and instructions to offerors. A will be held at JBSA Randolph AFB, TX on 13 May 2025, 11 am CST. All individuals wishing to attend must submit a request for base access no later than 9 May 2025, by 13:00 p.m. CST. Refer to each attachment for additional details and Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Products and Commercial Services, for specific Proposal Preparation and Format Instructions. Please respond to this RFQ by ing your response to: Larissa Cunha at larissa.cunhaus.af.mil and Bismark Badu at bismark.badu.3us.af.mil no later than 10:00am CDT, 26 May 2025 in order to be considered timely. All must be submitted in writing through no later than 16 May 2025 at 10:00 am CDT. Responses to will be posted by the Government on the SAM.gov, contracting opportunities website as received. submitted after this date/time will not be considered. All must be submitted in writing through no later than 16 May 2025 at 10:00 am CDT. This statement of work (SOW) defines the tasks required for the removal, installation and cleaning of the new PVC Fill. Installation will encompass the supply and installation of all necessary components. Work shall be in accordance with all applicable Federal/Local codes, manufacturer standards and specification a. Contractor shall assist CE HVAC Shops with the isolation of cells for service utilizing existing valves. b. Contractor shall verify and coordinate with CE HVAC Shops that Lockout/tagout is performed on all necessary electrical devices and ensure shutdown of pumps/chillers/fans are performed by others, if required. c. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of the existing PVC fill material, drift eliminators, packaging and shipping materials. Provision and removal of required trash dumpster or haul off shall be included on total cost. Contractor shall leave job site in a clean condition in accordance with (IAW) SOW paragraph (par. 9). d. Contractor shall provide and replace Evapco OEM PVC Fill material on all 4 cells in accordance with Model # AT 224-018 Serial # 11-410727 and Model # 224-018 Serial # 11-410728. Each Cooling Tower (4 Cells) (Model# AT 224-018 Serial # 11- 410727 and Serial # 11-410728) has 26 Drift Eliminators which is a total of 104 part. All Drift Eliminators need to be replaced. Ensure proper installation, alignment and secure it according to the manufacturer's specifications. e. Contractor shall pressure wash the interior casing panels and the interior of the cold basin ensuring the removal of any debris, scale, or algae buildup. f. All necessary labor, materials, disposal, supervision, and insurance shall be included. g. Contractor will inspect and verify Cooling Tower operation after completion of fill replacement. h. Contractor will conduct final inspection with 502d Civil Engineering Squadron (CE) and 502d CE HVAC Shop to verify all work is performed and complete. Contractor is required to have demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evapco or similar equipment. Period of Performance 02 Jun 2025 to 06 Aug 2025
