This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the City of St. Albert (the "City") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for SWMF Engineering Standards Development, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The purpose of this RFP is to retain an qualified engineering firm to lead the review of existing SWMF standards, identify gaps, the development of a comprehensive design and construction standards for SWMF, creation of best management practices, and operation & maintenance guidelines. The updated Municipal Engineering Standards for Stormwater Management Facilities will guide developers, consultants, contractors, and internal and external stakeholders in the design, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of municipal SWMF within the City of St. Albert.
