The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $200,000. The scope of work consists of replacing the existing fiberglass clevis hangers with new stainless steel clevis hangers at Pier 1 located at 90 Kuhio Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted via HIePRO no later than April 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., HST. RFI questions received after the stated deadline will not be addressed. Substitution Requests received after the stated deadline shall not be considered. The work to be done under this project includes furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary to replace the existing fiberglass clevis hangers with a new stainless steel clevis hangers at Pier 1, Hilo Harbor, Hawaii. Bidders are advised to examine the existing conditions at the project site to familiarize themselves with the nature and extent of work involved. Appointments may be made with the State Harbors Division Maintenance Engineer for clarification of the work involved and the character and quality of materials specified. 10.2 SCOPE OF WORK - The major items of work to be done includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items of work: A. Mobilization B. Provide a Best Management Practices (BMP) Plan C. Furnish and installation of new stainless steel clevis hangers. D. Removal of existing fiberglass clevis hangers, patch and repair existing to match adjacent surfaces. Verbal RFI(s) shall not receive a response. All responses to RFI questions shall be provided for clarification and information only and issued by formal addendum. Any amendments to the solicitation shall be made by formal addendum and posted in HIePRO.
