The bids are for a Single Prime Contract - Stipulated Sum construction of a maintenance building for the City of Waterloo's South Hills Golf Course consisting of office and break room space, toilet room, utility room, chemical storage and heated shop space. The project is a new 1,605 square foot wood post-frame building with a prefinished corrugated steel roof over wood trusses. Exterior cladding is to be prefinished corrugated steel panels over insulated walls. Interior finishes to be sealed concrete floors, painted gypsum wallboard walls and ceilings. HVAC in the office to be provided a mini-split system with supplemental electric baseboard heaters. HVAC in the shop area is provided by electric blower heaters. HVAC in the chemical storage area is provided by ceiling mounted electrical radiant heaters. Oil/sand separator will be installed outside of building. Site work is limited to gravel approaches at overhead doors and finish grading around building.
