Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Southfield, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Asbestos Abatement at Thompson K-8 International Academy All Proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the School District and/or any employee of the Contractor and any member of the Board of Education or Superintendent of the Southfield Public Schools. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond executed by a Michigan based Surety Company, or a cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal payable to the Owner and send to the following no later than the closing date and time. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a U.S. Treasury Listed Company Performance Bond for bids in excess of $50,000 in the amount of 25% of their bid. The cost of the bond shall be included in each proposal. The District shall require he successful bidder to furnish a Payment Bond for bids in excess of $50,000 in the amount of 25% of their bid.
