Closing Time: 10:00 AM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 2 addendum issued for this project. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/05/12 10:00:00 AM NDT Facilities Management Open Call for Bids For Centrifugal / Centravac Chiller Maintenance/service Agreement 1.1. The contractor shall in accordance with the terms, furnish all plant, labour, equipment, appliances, and materials for the regular/scheduled preventive maintenance and/or service of refrigeration and related equipment as detailed in Appendix "D" (to be included in "annual cost" per piece of equipment as detailed in Appendix "C". 1.2. Services for unscheduled repairs and maintenance (labor and materials) of the equipment as detailed in Appendix "D" in accordance with the hourly rates detailed in Appendix "C" and quoted materials costs (in accordance with this document). These services will be quoted by the Contactor and approved by the University Representative. 1.3. All work is to be performed in accordance with the provisions of this document including all appendices (A through F) and all applicable laws and regulations. 14. All employees shall be properly trained for operation, repair, service, leak testing and in the inspection refrigeration and related equipment as detailed herein, in accordance with regulations in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. 1.5. Area of work shall be kept clean. Protect all exposed surfaces of floors, furniture, walls, ceilings, etc. during work. Clean all exposed surfaces affected by the work to the complete satisfaction of the University Representative. Make good all damage caused by work to the satisfaction of the University Representative. 1.6. Any electrical disconnections and connections require a licensed electrician. This will be completed by having Facilities Management electricians accompany the refrigeration technician electrical disconnection/connects are required during service calls. The University Zero Energy Isolation Program standard will be used for all electrical work. 1.7. The Contractor shall submit a detailed report on the status of all work performed in electronic format, PDF preferred. Reports should reference Facilities Management Equipment / System Tag number as specified on the FM work order and the FM Work Order number. 1.8. Work involving leak testing, leak repairs, charging, recharging, and system replacement and labelling shall be accompanied by a completed Ozone Depleting Substance Emission Control service log as presented in Appendix "E". Or an equivalent form from the Contractor agreed upon by the University Representative. In the event that 10kg or greater of refrigerant is released into the atmosphere, it is the contractor's responsibility to inform the university and submit a report to the applicable regulating authority.
