Reference Number 00004543273 This RFP is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the "City") to prospective suppliers to submit Bids for provision of full professional services for the design and construction of the Downsview Community Recreation Centre (CRC). The building will meet Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act accessibility standards and target Net Zero Emissions Building. The Downsview Community Recreation Centre (CRC) will offer a variety of year-round programs and services for Downsview's growing communities and surrounding areas. The CRC is proposed to include: -a six lane, 25-metre lane pool, -a leisure/tot pool, -a double gymnasium with a running track, -fitness studios, -multi-purpose spaces, -a community kitchen, -a weight room, -seniors and youth spaces, -Indigenous program space, -social services office, -WIFI access throughout the facility. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design and construction has been issued by the city. Further update upon award of the RFP. *Construction cost is unreleased for publication.
