Site work for a water / sewer project in Edina, Minnesota. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will rehabilitate approximately 4,000 linear feet of watermain pipe along Maloney Avenue between Washington Avenue and Blake Road. The pipes are located under the streets. The pipes are breaking at high frequencies and need rehabilitation. It is anticipated that the project will use the cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation method. This work may be combined with the Presidents Neighborhood Street Reconstruction Project. The project is included in the city's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 10, 2025, per owner, project was awarded on April 1, 2025. Construction expected to begin April 28, 2025, and completed by November 15, 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
