Mt. San Antonio College is inviting Consultants to submit a Proposal for Professional Consultant Services to provide various services on an "as needed" basis estimated for the period July 2025 through July 2026. Once an agreement is executed, the College may extend the on-call services for up to four additional one-year contract time extensions. The Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) Design Services Consultant will provide a comprehensive range of services, including but not limited to: coordinating and planning the development of furniture layouts, assessing and coordinating infrastructure requirements, establishing procurement strategies and specifications, managing delivery schedules, reviewing project submittals, tracking and reviewing orders, coordinating installation and conducting inspections, facilitating competitive bidding of furniture not available through a cooperative purchasing agreement, overseeing project start-up activities, and coordinating with relocation efforts. Additionally, the consultant will coordinate the use of any furniture in stock and if furniture is required. Budgeting and cost estimating will be integral to the consultant's responsibilities within this agreement. FF&E encompasses a wide variety of products, such as systems furniture, loose furniture, artwork, accessories, signage, planters, and window coverings. In certain cases, FF&E may also include custom furniture, movable partitions, modular wall systems, millwork, and integration of specialty equipment, and audiovisual equipment. A key responsibility will be the ongoing development, monitoring, and updating of campus standards for furniture and RFP services, furnishings, and equipment. The consultant's responsibility will be to oversee the entire project, ensuring that all activities are conducted in strict alignment with the established project plans and specifications. These plans and specifications are to be developed collaboratively with both internal team members and external architects, engineers, and AV consultants. The initial term of the contract will be for five (5) years and will automatically renew for up to NO VALUE additional one-year periods, not to exceed a total of Five (5) years. Questions and inquiries concerning this RFQ must be made in writing and submitted via electronically. The College may reject any or all proposals and may waive informalities and minor irregularities in any proposal received. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
