Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project includes temporary sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, drainage, cement concrete slabs, bituminous concrete walkways, fencing, landscaping, and installation of owner-furnished elements including playground and site furnishings. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $300,000.00. It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on April 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 30, 2025 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS and Federal Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
