Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Alamosa, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,492-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
Sanitation Shop 2025 Project The selected Contractor will be responsible for: - Providing material, labor, and equipment to perform and erect the structures and assemblies described as exhibits A and B of this proposal. This specifically includes excavation for foundation, foundation, building erection, building finishes and assemblies, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This specifically excludes site development and foundation pad build up. - Foundation excavation and backfill, survey, all utility laterals shall be provided by the General Contractor. - Concrete sidewalks with curb and gutter are to be provided by the GC and shall be included in the proposer's scope of work. All other Site Development will be performed by the City of Alamosa to include the fence, asphalt parking and gravel yard. - The General Contractor will not be required to haul, place, or compact the soils for the foundation pad buildup which will be performed by the city of Alamosa. Compaction testing reports will be provided at Standard or Proctor test ASTM D-698 (90%-95%) of dry unit weight. - GC shall provide all construction management as required to perform and erect the structures and assemblies as described in Exhibits A and B of this proposal. - GC shall provided AISC 207-23 certified Pre-engineered metal building with engineered sealed construction plans and calculations showing all reactions, connection details, fasteners, metal panels, insulation, energy thermal barriers, flashing details, and all other common or required information for the evaluation, approval, and installation of the structure. - GC shall provide a 20 year limited steel building warranty for manufacture defect and workmanship for goods, and components supplied and installed. - Provide construction documents to include product and manufacturer submittal, Request for Information, Manufacture specifications and installation guides, As-builts, permit and inspections records and other AIA supported documents commonly associated with this type of project. All documentation shall be made available to the owner, architect, and engineer of record. - Finish Grade and gravel installation shall be provided by the owner. - Application, installation, and service of Xcel Energy lateral service lines up to the building connections will be the responsibility of the owner. All other installation, management, materials, permits, and construction coordination will be the responsibility of the general contractor. - The contractor is responsible for all permit applications, fees, inspection records, and reporting. All documents of permits and inspections shall be provided to the owner or the owner's agency. - Bi-monthly Regular construction meetings and updates shall be administered and attended by the general contractor. Meeting records shall be kept by the general contractor and provided to the owner or owner's agent. - A written construction schedule shall be created by the general contractor and approved by the owner. Bi-monthly updates to the schedule shall be recorded and provided to the owner. Last Day to Submit Questions in Writing April 28, 2025
