Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Caney, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of May 28, 2025, the project was awarded to Gullo Commercial Construction, LLC, with an awarded amount of $2,267,491.06.** All bids shall be submitted on the basis of lump sum as provided in the bid specifications. Payment to successful bidder shall be net thirty (30) days after receipt of products, materials, services or invoices, whichever is later unless otherwise stated in specifications. The right is reserved, as the interest of Montgomery County Commissioners' Court may require rejecting any one or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. All bids received after the above designated closing time will be returned unopened. A Bid Bond from an approved surety company-holding permit from the State of Texas will be required. The Bid Bond must be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and must accompany each bid. If applicable, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project. A prevailing wage rate has been prescribed for this project. Montgomery County is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. A Cashier's or Certified Check or Bidder's Bond payable to the order of the OWNER, in an amount not less than 5% of the greatest amount of bid submitted must accompany the Contractors Bid. A Performance and Payment Bond, each in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Sum, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract, will be required. Document info : General Documents, Drawings and Specifications (Construction Documents) for the Project are in the office of the Purchasing Agent. Any questions concerning the information contained in the Plans & Specifications shall be directed to Senior Buyer, Matthew Alexander via email at matthew.alexander@mctx.org. Sets of Construction Documents may be obtained from the office of the Montgomery County Purchasing Agent. General Contract Bidders shall submit a completed Contractor's Qualification Statement (AIA Form A305) to Purchasing Agent at time of request for documents. All bids, whether mailed or delivered, must be in the hands of OWNER no later than the above specified time for said Project. All Bids shall be sealed and marked outside of envelope: A.V. "Bull" Sallas Park Landscape Improvements, PROJECT 25-25, with name and address of the Bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for ninty (90) days after opening of the bids without consent of Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept or reject any Alternates; to accept any bid considered advantageous; and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid which, in his judgement, is in his own best interest.
