1. The term for this Firm Price List is May 01, 2025 to October 15, 2026. Provide 2025 and 2026 rates on the Bid Form. 2. The City of Brandon does not guarantee any minimum or maximum jobs. 3. Jobs will be requested on an as required basis. Services will be required when Brandon Police Service By-Law Enforcement issues a By-Law violation notice (BVN) to a property owner regarding yard maintenance and the properly owner fails to comply with the BVN. 4. The Greenspace Maintenance Chargehand and the Contractor will meet on site to determine equipment to be used and estimated time to complete the work. 5. The Contractor shall: a. Mow grass on private property (back side, front yard, side yard and boulevard) to a maximum of 4 cm. b. Line trim all fence lines to mowed grass height to maximum of 4 cm. c. Line trim all trees and other obstacles in the yard and boulevard to mowed grass height to a maximum of 4cm. d. Remove/dispose rubbish/garbage required to perform lawn maintenance. e. Any damage caused by the Contractor to private property will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to repair. All successful Bidders of construction or service work for the City of Brandon, whether Brandon-based or otherwise, must obtain a City of Brandon License.
