Reference Number 0000291922 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/05/02 04:00:00 PM CDT Assiniboine College is seeking greenhouse suppliers to provide fixed bid pricing for the supply and installation of four greenhouses and related components at the new Assiniboine College Greenhouse Facility to be located at our Horth Hill Campus in Brandon, Manitoba. Bids shall include all labour, material, and equipment as per the Project Drawings and related Specification Sections included in this tender. Assiniboine College intends to act as construction manager/general contractor for this project and will provide a representative from its Campus Development department to oversee construction. A Horticultural Environmental Growth Room (HEGR) is a purpose-built room in which environmental variables, such as temperature, humidity, lighting, CO2 level and air movement are tightly monitored and precisely controlled to provide an environment in which plant growth and physiological response can readily measured and recorded. An HEGR provides the user with an ability to measure plant growth and response arising from the specific environmental conditions to which the room held, to study the effect of plant growth and response at different environmental conditions or to provide steady state conditions so the measured response is due to genetics, nutrition, or other investigated parameter and not due to the environmental fluctuations under which the plant was grown.
