Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a mixed-use development in Winters, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Landmark has been selected to deliver this Lease-Leaseback project, for our valued client, Winters Joint Unified School District. We are the selected contractor for this project. Solicitation # TEP #4158, 02-121686, 24-7600.0060, 4511, 04-104801, 02-2111.00, 57-36 The project consists of the addition of a new modular TK classroom building (by JL Modular), new parking and drop off areas, stormwater drainage improvements, exterior pathways, learning space and play areas. Refer to the bid documents for the complete scope and requirements. The current bid set is the DSA Submittal Set. Work is anticipated to start May 2025. All questions should be directed to Landmark, please do not contact the architect, District, or Construction Manager directly. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors must prequalify with the District in accordance with their requirements. Completed prequalifications must be submitted to the District. Any work claimed by the Carpenters and Laborers Unions MUST be performed by signatory firms. This IS NOT a PSA project. A copy of Landmark's safety program is available upon request. We reserve the right to increase or adjust safety requirements as conditions require to execute the work safely. Labor Code Section 1725.5 requires all contractors and subcontractors intending to bid or perform work on public works projects to annually register and pay a fee to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) for purposes of monitoring and enforcing compliance with the State's prevailing wage law. For more information, online. All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids on public works projects must be registered. This project requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce under Education Code section 17407.5 and Public Contract Code section 2601. Education Code Section 17407.5 requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce, as defined by Public Contract Code section 2601, by subcontractors at every tier, to perform work which falls within an apprenticeable occupation in the building and construction trades. Verification of compliance must be submitted on a monthly basis.
