Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greenville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1. New security glass of the type and sizes noted on the individual school drawings (Elevations and Floor Plans). Note: The floor plans for the schools noted will only be released to the successful bidder, the bids will be based on the elevation drawings and quantities for each size of glass. 2. New metal door glass light kits, to replace any existing wood glass stops where noted on the elevation drawings. 3. Structural silicone as specified on each side of the glass stops (all locations). 4. Demolition (removal) of the existing glass (to be removed from the school site), and other misc. debris removal. 5. Clean up of the area in which the work has been performed The School District of Greenville County is located in the Upstate of South Carolina with approximately 78,000 students and 11,000 employees. The District was established in 1951. The District consists of more than 100 schools, career centers and other facilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the responsibilities listed in this IFB and any future authorized, amended documents related to this solicitation. If the Bidder takes any exceptions to any part of the solicitation, include the exceptions with the proposal on a separate page titled ''Exceptions to Proposal Criteria.'' The District does requires Performance and Payment Bonds for this project in accordance with SC code of Laws for construction project's that exceed $100,000.00 The District reserves the right, at any time after opening and prior to award, to request from any apparently responsible bidder or proposer, clarification(s) of the bid/proposal submitted to the District, address questions or to seek or provide other information regarding the offeror's submittal/response. This process may be used for such purposes as providing an opportunity for the offeror to clarify its bid/proposal in order to assure mutual understanding and to determine acceptability. Question Deadline 04/23/2025 at 10:00 AM ET When a question received by the District is found to be previously and sufficiently addressed in the solicitation, that question will be returned to the proposer with a reference to the part of the solicitation containing the answer
