The City of Norwalk is requesting bids for the construction of the Brien McMahon High School HVAC/IAQ Project as outlined in the Contract Documents. Questions Due Date: Apr 18th 2025, 5:00 PM Questions Online Portal All inquiries or requests for information must be submitted to the Newfield Construction Brian Grant Construction Manager: Newfield Construction Group, LLC 225 Newfield Avenue Hartford, CT 06106 Attn: Brian Grant E: briangrant@newfieldconstruction.com A 10% Bid Security is required from each Bidder at the time of bid submission. The selected bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract Sum (if in excess of $25,000.00 dollars), and a Payment Bond for the full amount of the Contract Sum (if in excess of $100,000.00 dollars). The cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid price. Every other Trade Contractor is still responsible to award not less the twenty-five percent (25%) of their total contract price to contractors who are certified and eligible to participate in the State of Connecticuts Small Contractors set aside program, including (25%) of this amount (or 6.25%) of the total contract price to be awarded to certified and eligible Minority Business Enterprises (MBE).
