This Project is referred to as Humphrey Southeast Paving, C-71(900) and shall include all labor, material, transportation and equipment required to construct approximately 620 feet of grading, 9 doweled concrete pavement, Class 47B-3500, and related incidental work. The sealed bids may be mailed or delivered to the Platte County Clerk, Platte County Courthouse, 2610 14 th Street, Columbus, NE 68601, and should be plainly marked as, Construction Bid Proposal Humphrey Southeast Paving, C-71(900) . Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Platte County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is September 16 th , 2025. The Contractor will be allowed forty-five (45) calendar days for the project after beginning work at the site. The Completion Date will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days for that site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer.
