Site work and paving for a civil project in Cumberland Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work in this contract shall consist of all equipment and labor for installing and doing any required work associated with the project. Work consists of thirteen (13) 18" drainpipes (580LF). Multiple pipe outlets are beyond the roadway limits to allow for adequate pipe grade to discharge point. Each pipe will require construction of stacked stone headwalls and endwalls with outlet protection. The road profile will be graded, raised in lifts and compacted to bury the shallow cross pipes. The materials to be used for fill on roadway will be Crush and Run 2A (1850 Ton). Roadway resurfacing will include shaping the road for proper drainage and cleaning ditch lines as needed. 1620 linear feet of riprap channel/ditch construction will be completed. 240 linear feet of 6" underdrain will be installed. 3 turns outs will be excavated in. A turn out is cutting the shoulder/bank to allow runoff to sheet flow off the edge of the roadway. The project includes maintenance and protection of traffic for the roadway. All costs are non- refundable. Bidders MUST be registered with the Project Engineer in order to receive any Addenda. The Bidding Documents may be viewed free of charge at the Engineer's office and at the Owner's office. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received. This contract shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended 43 P.S. section 165 et. Seq. if the cost of the project is above the state minimum for prevailing wage projects. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days once filed with the Township.
