PREQUALIFICATION OF PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on these projects must be prequalified. Prequalified bidders will be required to have the following California contractors license: B License (General Building) PREQUALIFIED MECHANCICAL, ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING SUBCONTRACTORS: When the construction cost on the above specified projects is between $300,000.00 and $640,000.00 the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) subcontractors must also be prequalified under the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) requirements. Prequalification of these subcontractors will occur during the project's bid solicitation. Only successfully prequalified MEP subcontractors will be eligible to perform the MEP work on said projects. Any prequalified prime contractor wishing to self-perform said MEP must also have successfully prequalified for the MEP trade work. The University reserves the right to reject any or all responses to Prequalification Questionnaires and to waive non-material irregularities in any response received. The successful Prequalified Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
