Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kodiak, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a day care center; fitness / recreation center; and swimming pool.
Work performance under this contract is to install an updated, high resolution and strong low light performance CCTV system into the entire fitness facility, the Teen Center room, and the Aquatic Facility. 1) There must be video coverage of all spaces on the 1st floor and the basement, including all corners, windows, access doors to the building, basketball court, parent tot space, the aerobics room, spin room, wallyball court, racquetball courts, weight room, cardio room, hallways, stairwells, and locker room and restroom entries (not viewing inside the locker rooms or restrooms) internal storage rooms and all internal space doors. 2) Specific to the aquatic facility: ensure all areas of the pool surface and floor can be viewed, including all access doors to the outside and from the inside hallway, doors to the chemical room, the entire pool deck, and entry points to the locker rooms, both from inside the pool and from the hallway. 3) Specific to the Teen Center: The cameras in this facility do not need to be displayed via a monitor, but shall be viewable on a device (ipad) in the event it's needed. 4) The CCTV system must be accessible both on the physical CCTV network and remotely via an application that approved staff members can access. 5) Camera system must be secure and hardwired to the internet to meet PCI compliance requirements. 6) Contract must provide step by step training for staff members. In addition, contractor must provide a digital guide for using the camera system and connecting devices for viewing. 7) Contract must provide all hardware, software, cabling, and equipment to properly run the system. Include hardware/software, installation, training for facility staff, shing of material, and travel and lodging/per diem for installers all as separate line items on quotation. 8) Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of all current camera system equipment that does not connect into the new installed system. No old cameras may be reused; all cameras must be updated to current technology. 9) Contract must include a warranty on all parts, equipment, and troubleshooting assistance with hardware and software. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached. The solicitation number is 70Z045-25-Q-KODI0068 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Government Estimate Less than $25,000.00 The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and Construction clauses are those in effect through FAC# 2025-03 Effective Date 1/17/2025 Department of Labor Wage and Determination No 2015-5687, Revision No 24, dated 12/22/2024 is applicable to this requirement. INSTALLATION AND SET UP FOR A CAMERA SYSTEM USCG BASE KODIAK POOL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED SCOPE OF WORK Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 - ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS AND OTHER WIRING INSTALLATION CONTRACTORS.
