The Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Office for Facilities Support Services, on behalf of South-Central Kentucky Community & Technical College (SKYCTC) desires to procure professional architectural services and associated project team to accomplish the replacement of the Glasgow Campus – Phase I Nursing Facility at a new site location (to be determined before award of this project to the AE) in Glasgow, Kentucky. KCTCS and its Southcentral KY Community and Technical College needs expanded space to properly support the College’s mission at Glasgow, Kentucky (Barren County). To accomplish this, a new site is being selected to start a new Glasgow campus where the existing campus functions will be relocated. The project will be accomplished in two phases: Phase I is to construct a new Nursing Facility on the new site to accommodate the nursing programs and a Phase II to construct a new building to house the technical programs. This project will focus on Phase I. However, the KCTCS reserves the right to continue with Phase II using the same design team when funding becomes available if the KCTCS deems it is its best interest to continue Phase II with this same team. It is also anticipated that the KCTCS will utilize the Construction Manager / General Contractor alternative delivery method in order to bring a construction professional into the design process before or near the conclusion of Phase A design work.
