The General Scope of Work Includes the Removal and Replacement of the Existing 100kw, 208v, 3-phase Natural Gas Generator and 400a Automatic Transfer Switch Serving the Main Office. The Existing Generator and Transfer Switch, Which Are No Longer Functional, Will Be Removed and Properly Disposed of in Accordance With Applicable Regulations. A New 100kw, 208v, 3-phase Natural Gas Generator Will Be Installed in the Same Location, Ensuring Proper Alignment With Existing Electrical and Gas Connections. Additionally, a New 400a Ulse-rated Automatic Transfer Switch Will Be Installed to Replace the Existing Unit, Providing Seamless Power Transfer in the Event of an Outage. All Necessary Electrical Connections, Conduit, Grounding, and Testing Will Be Performed to Ensure Compliance With Local Codes, Manufacturer Specifications, and Industry Standards. Upon Completion, the System Will Be Tested to Confirm Proper Operation, and Necessary Documentation Will Be Provided. The Work Will Be Coordinated to Minimize Disruption to the Main Office's Operations.A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Alabama Department of Transportation in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Event More Than $10,000, Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal.
