Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Camden, Alabama. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 6,136-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

All Bidders shall have general liability and workman's compensation insurance. The project shall be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on proposal form furnished by the Architect or copies thereof for each project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. A certified check or Bid Bond payable to the Alabama-Tombigbee Regional Commission in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975 and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect. All bidders shall show such evidence by clearly displaying their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. This Section includes the following: 1. Hinges. 2. Key control system. 3. Lock cylinders and keys. 4. Lock and latch sets. 5. Bolts. 6. Exit devices. 7. Push/pull units. 8. Closers. 9. Overhead holders. 10. Miscellaneous door control devices. 11. Door trim units. 12. Protection plates. 13. Weather-stripping for exterior doors. 14. Sound stripping for interior doors. 15. Astragals or meeting seals on pairs of doors. 16. Thresholds. Install each hardware item in compliance with manufacturerís instructions and recommendations. Where cutting and fitting is required to install hardware onto or into surfaces that are later to be painted of finished in another way, install each item completely and then remove and store in a secure place during the finish application. After completion of the finishes, reinstall each item. 1. Do not install surface mounted items until finishes have been completed on the substrate. All RFIs and RFAs regarding the bid documents shall be sent and addressed through emails found on the RFI and RFA forms in the project manual. FORMS IN THE PROJECT MANUAL WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Architect will not accept inquiries via telephone or fax General: Place asphalt concrete mixture on prepared surface, spread and strike-off. Spread mixture at minimum temperature of 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Place inaccessible and small areas by hand. Place each course to required grade, cross-section and compact thickness. B. Paver Placing: Place in strips not less than 10' wide, unless otherwise acceptable to Architect. After first strip has been placed and rolled, place succeeding strips and extend rolling to overlap previous strips. C. Joints: Make joints between old and new pavements, or between successive days' work, to ensure continuous bond between adjoining work. Construct joints to have same texture, density and smoothness as other sections of asphalt concrete course. Clean contact surfaces and apply tack coat.
