P-rail style Handrail Manufacturing and Installation at Memorial Gradens Question Deadline: Thu Apr 24, 2025 4:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 6 Documents can be obtained from https://cityofnorthbay.bidsandtenders.ca/ The scope of work includes supply of all labour, tools, materials and equipment to fabricate and install approximately 184 P-rails (refer to drawings - Attachment A) at North Bay's Memorial Gardens. All work is to be completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The contractor is responsible for all pricing and all other arrangements with all subcontractors as required. A.1 Scope of Work 1. All work to be completed in accordance with applicable codes (e.g. Building Code, Fire Code, etc.) 2. All measurements to be site verified. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for fully understanding the existing site conditions and any potential impacts prior to the commencement of work. All work shall be performed in a manner that accounts for these conditions. 4. Protect all areas not affected by the work. Any damage to these areas will be the responsibility of the contractor to rectify. 5. Work shall be confined to the designated areas outlined in the provided drawings. Any deviations or expansions beyond these areas require prior written approval from the Consultant. 6. The specifications are to be considered as an integral part of the plans, which accompany them; neither the plans nor the specifications shall be used alone. Any item or subject omitted from one, but which is mentioned or reasonably implied in the other, shall be considered as properly and sufficiently specified, and must, therefore be provided. Misinterpretations of either the plans or the specifications shall not relieve the Contractor of their responsibility. 7. Additional verbal instructions given by the Owner's representative and Consultant shall be confirmed in writing and shall become part of this specification. Any such addition shall not alter the intent, limit, quality or quantity of the contract. 8. All work shall conform to industry standards, applicable codes, and regulations. The Owner's representative and Consultant reserves the right to inspect all phases of the work to ensure compliance. 9. All shop drawings received by the Owner shall bear the Contractor's approved or reviewed stamp and shall be received prior to manufacture of the product. 10. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure worksite at all times, adhering to all applicable health and safety regulations. Public access to work areas must be restricted as necessary to ensure safety. 11. The contractor shall supply the City of North Bay with copies of relevant certificates and licences for all workers before commencement of work.
