Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Q&A Deadline June 13, 2025 2:00 PM (EDT) Repair of equipment at the (6) Stormwater Pumping Stations as described herein and as shown on the drawings. Work includes but is not limited to the following: pipe repair, valve / actuator repair, control panel replacement, concrete repair, building mechanical systems repair, fuel systems repair / replacement, and electrical distribution equipment replacement / repair. Liquidated Damages 1000 This is a LUMP SUM project which also has unit priced components and City of Hartford Controlled Allowances. Work under this project shall include but not be limited to repair and replacement of equipment at the (6) Stormwater Pumping Stations as described herein and as shown on the drawings. Work includes but is not limited to the following: environmental remediation, pipe repair, valve / actuator repair, control panel replacement, concrete repair, building mechanical systems repair, overhead crane replacement, fuel systems repair / replacement, and electrical distribution equipment replacement / repair. The Contractor is responsible for having a reasonable understanding of operations at all pump stations, specifically those which may be impacted by construction activities and plan to include provisions, as necessary, to maintain pump station operation during construction. The City's Flood Control O&M Manual is included in the project's documentation (Specification 003100) along with other critical Available Project Information, so that the Contractor is aware of pump station operations. This Flood Contingency Plan (FCP) template is included in specification 013513 a & b and is intended to protect the City of Hartford flood control system from damage, failure, or impairment of its ability to control flooding resulting from activities undertaken to complete this project. (The template is generic in nature and may contain some items that are not applicable to the specific project under consideration.)
