Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for the demolition of a transportation facility; transportation facility; road / highway; and road / highway.

Reference Number 0000291292 Question Acceptance Deadline 04/29/2025 at 4:00 PM ET The scope of work, in general terms, involves the demolition of existing buildings (2) including the removal of hazardous materials, construction of a new Parking Lot Area, reconfiguration of the Existing Parking Lot, re-alignment of sections of the Existing Roadway, construction of new Roadway section, Power Feeder & Electrical Infrastructure installation, demolition of existing Electrical Infrastructure & relocation of utilities. Work will include but not limited to: (i) Mobilization and Demobilization (ii) Place and maintain detour signage (iii) Establish traffic/pedestrian control and environmental protection. (iv) Complete pre-construction survey layout We agree to commence the Work as specified, to proceed continuously to completion and to achieve substantial completion by October 17, 2025, and achieve Total Completion by October 31,2025. (v) Demolition of existing buildings & associated components c/w abatement of hazardous materials buildings as specified (vi) Demolition of electrical infrastructure in the Moffat Hangar & Prop Test Building (vii) Demolition of existing site features as indicated (viii) Remove sections of the existing asphalt parking area and reconstruct c/w excavation to underside of new Granular 'A' base, installation of new Granular 'A' base material & two-40mm lifts of HL4 to limits indicated on drawings. (ix) Construct new roadway & parking lot area including installation of granular sub-base, base and two-40mm lifts of HL4, to limits indicated on drawings. (x) Install sections of new storm sewer, as indicated. (xi) Install new catch basins, catch basin leads & catchbasin manholes, as indicated and re-establish all existing connection into structures (xii) Construct sections of new ditching & install new 450mmØ CSP culverts (xiii) Relocate 3-way fire hydrants c/w appurtenances as indicated. (xiv) Install sections of new concrete curbs and curb & gutter, as indicated (xv) Install sections of new concrete island slabs and concrete & asphalt sidewalks, as indicated (xvi) Construct new entrance and exits to rental parking lot, as indicated. (xvii) Relocate existing ticket booths and gates, as indicated. (xviii) Install new signage & relocate exiting signs, fences, and concrete pre-cast (xix) Construct new timber fencing, as indicated (xx) Install topsoil and sod, as indicated (xxi) Complete pavement marking removal in existing parking area, as indicated (xxii) Complete pavement marking, as indicated (xxiii) Install 600V power feeder from the 3rd-floor electrical room to green space in expanded parking lot. (xxiv) Step down voltage to 120/208V for the expanded west parking lot distribution (xxv) Install new electrical distribution system for parking lot lighting, entry/exit gates, and EV charging stations. (xxvi) Relocate and reuse existing roadway light standards for the expanded parking area. (xxvii) Supply and install new roadway and parking lot light standards to accommodate additional lighting requirements. (xxviii) Relocation hydro and telecommunications utilities (xxix) Reconstruct all surface features disturbed during construction (xxx) All work as indicated on the Drawing and Specifications Proof of liability Insurance shall be provided by the successful Tenderer. Limits of Liability are as follows: General Liability Bodily Injury Property Damage $5,000,000.00/per occurrence Automobile Liability $5,000,000.00/per occurrence A bid deposit in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) shall be uploaded with your Bid Submission.
