Wright State University is looking to secure the services of an Architectural and/or Consulting Firm to conduct an existing conditions campus wide roof evaluation, and providing a comprehensive report for recommended repairs/replacement based on budget figures. Attachment "A" is a list of Buildings that should be part of the report The following services should be part of our final roof assessment; o Investigation- Investigate the present conditions and identify all major deficiencies. All area should be investigated and cored, if possible, along with pictures and drawings depicting the flashings and other details of failures. Rate each roof area based on probable need and cost. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Frank Martinez at Frank.Martinez@wright.edu with the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please) EDGE Participation Goal Percent of initial Total A/E Fee: 5.0%. Construction Notice to Proceed: 06/25 Professional Services Completed: 08/25 o Report Content- Report the present conditions, and recommend repairs based on priorities, the year work is anticipated to occur and estimated budget costs at projected dollars. The recommended repairs should span a ten year period. Include a cross cut detail of all materials comprising the roof system. o Report Delivery- The completed report data should be delivered to WSU via software. The data should be in excel format, any pictures or video should be in jpeg, mov. easily assessable. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth& Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. Paper copies of the Statement of Qualifications, if requested, should be stapled only. Do not use special bindings or coverings of any type. Cover letters and transmittals are not necessary. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
