For furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and all incidentals required for the construction of the Phase 2A - W5 12-Inch & 16 Inch Water Line (Dane St. Groundwater Well to Union Pacific Railroad) project. The project consists of, but not limited to, approximately 3,540 linear feet of 16-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by open cut with embedment, approximately 185 linear feet of 16-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by dry bore with 30-inch steel encasement pipe (1/2-inch wall), approximately 1,925 linear feet of 12-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by open cut with embedment, approximately 85 linear feet of 12-inch C900, DR-18 PVC water line by open cut with 24-inch steel encasement pipe (1/4-inch wall), as shown in the plans and called for in these specifications. Bidders are required to submit a cashiers or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Aubrey, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Aubrey, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety. Should the total contract price be less than $25,000.00, no performance bond or payment bond will be required.
