Construction Management, Inspection Services and Labor Compliance Support Services for County of Imperial Behavioral Health Services (BHS) El Centro Outpatient Clinic "It Takes a Village" Interior Remodel, Exterior and Site Improvements and Roof Replacement located at 120 N. 8th Street, El Centro, CA 92243 The construction management and construction inspection services are needed for the tenant improvements by ICBHS consisting of interior, exterior, site improvements and the roof replacement of the existing building. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in "SCOPE OF WORK," of this notice. In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized consultants and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. The submitting firms must have the capacity to complete work within the time limit and construction schedule established by the County. No oral question or inquiry about this RFP shall be accepted. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept or reject any one or more items of a proposal, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals or in the process. Facility Construction Completion and Closed Out July 2026 (Tentative) PROJECT DESCRIPTION a. ICBHS worked with YNG Architects and Imperial County Public Works (ICDPw) to develop and approve the floor plan for this project. The project consists of rehabilitating the existing 10,250 sq. ft. of the El Centro Children's and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic located at 120 N. 8th Street, El Centro, CA, and repaving the 8,241 sq. ft. of the south parking lot. b. BHCIP grant funds will be used to maximize the current 10,250 sq. ft. of the clinic. Renovations will consist of the following, (but not limited to): i. The creation of 11 dedicated clinical spaces which include 4 clinician offices, 2 psychiatric offices, I telemedicine office, I nurse's office, 1 group room, 1 case management area, and 1 interview room. ii. The creation of a larger waiting area for clients and their parents by redesigning existing office spaces. iii. The creation of an ADA compliant walkway for children and families with disabilities. iv. The creation of a large telemedicine room that will house state of the art equipment so telehealth providers can thoroughly assess children and youth. v. The creation of a group room that will be used to provide group therapy and parenting groups. vi. All of the single paned windows from 1947 will be replaced with double panned energy efficient windows. vii. The HVAC and electrical system will be modernized to ensure the energy efficiency of the clinic. viii. The entire roof will be replaced. c. Additionally, grant funds will also be utilized to repave the 8,241 sq. ft. south parking lot. The purposed construction will consist of the following: i. Relocating the handicap parking spaces closer to the clinic to ensure proper accommodation and access. ii. Repainting parking lines to make the most of the available space that is available for clients and the general public. d. BHCIP grant funding will also cover the cost of the following expenditures associated with the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the El Centro Children's and Adolescent Outpatient Clinic: i.
